Developing partnership working
Transform Schools has invested in the development of a robust, evidence based, practical model of partnership working.
Transform Schools' model for partnership working has been developed with Aston Organisation Development (AOD), Aston Business School and our existing operating projects. The model guides the development of partnership working and is used as part of the ongoing evaluation of partnership.
The model and its underlying principles are also the subject of ongoing validation by researchers at Aston University, where Transform Schools is sponsoring a research project to further develop its approach to developing successful partnerships. In particular we are already co-sponsoring with the Economic and Research Council (ESRC) a student for the CASE studentship. It also expands upon the partnership assessment tool developed for the (former) ODPM by the Nuffield Institute for Health at the University of Leeds. The model has been successfully applied to Transform Schools’ grouped schools partnerships in Birmingham, Rotherham, Stoke and North Lanarkshire, Islington and Knowsley
