Summary

Transform Schools (Knowsley), the concession company awarded the 25 year, £165.5 million contract to design and construct seven new learning centres under the Building Schools for the Future programme.
Balfour Beatty’s shareholding is 100%. Balfour Beatty will invest £19 million of equity in the project.

Project overview

• Construction of seven state-of-the-art learning centres which will replace all of the Borough’s existing schools over a 3 year period.
• Construction and building work is being carried out by Balfour Beatty Construction and Balfour Beatty Engineering Services.
• Maintenance of the schools will be undertaken by Balfour Beatty WorkPlace.
